Hey this is Min-ju AKA BJJ Senpai, I am putting together a 6 week online cours for grapplers who are looking to add longevity to their grappling careers. I have seen way too many of us focusing only on jiujitsu (who wouldn't? It is way too much fun) and neglecting the not-so-fun part of taking care of your body.
The result? Sitting on the sidelines for months, even years on end, due to serious injuries. Or prematurely retiring from the sport because your body just couldn't handle it anymore.
Life without jiujitsu sucks. Trust me I know. I was that person. I was off the mats for 7 years due to a neck injury that progressively got worse because I kept trying to "train through it" without taking the necessary steps to deal with it properly. To the point that I stopped jiujitsu completely, thinking I would never be able to train again.
Fast-forward to 2024, and this is gonna be 3 years of me being back training on the mats. During my time away from jiujitus, I built up my personal training business. And after training hundreds and hundreds of clients, and also training myself, I have put together a system that focuses on fitness, health, and longevity. And thanks to that, I have been able to train again without getting serously injured. And most people tell me that I am still pretty strong, flexible, and move pretty well despite being 44 years old.
And that is why I am bringing this training system (modified for grapplers) to the jiujitsu community. It is my goal to help you add longevity to your grappling career. It is my wish to help you stop normalizing constant aches and pains from jiujitsu. I want you to not just survive, but thrive on the mats.
